I'm a 40-42, but my cup size is barely a B. I'm also a lingerie addict, but all of my frillies are slips, with no support. At this point, all of my bras have extenders, which I believe is awkward and slightly tacky. Is there any website or advice you can send my way? :) Also, your page is splendid. <3
Thanks for writing! I can certainly understand why you’ve had a bit of trouble, 40-42B isn’t a size commonly carried by retailers.
and HerRoom.com. Both have the largest selection of 40-42B bras I’ve seen. Rago in particular makes a pretty, lacy longline bra. You could also try HipsandCurves.com. Their selection isn’t as large but the prices tend to be more reasonable.
I am a naturally thin but rather busty girl. I have been looking for pretty little things in my size to wear for my boyfriend [similar to the things you recently posted from VS] but have been having trouble. Do you know where I might find some of these things at a decent price and/or without having to get it custom-made?
It’s very hard for me to recommend something in your size and price range without you telling me what your size and price range is. I’d be happy to help if you reply with some more specific parameters.
Dear Treacle, what is the easiest way to get in and out of a tight, power-mesh tummy-sucking corsolette or girdle dress that has no zips or fastenings of any kind? I'm an hourglass and can never figure out whether I should pull things like dresses on up over my hips or down over my breasts. Also, is it possible to remove such a garment in a somewhat sexy manner, without looking like a hippo doing yoga?
It sounds like you’re talking about a roll-on girdle, and the easiest way to put one of those on is to step into it and roll it up your body.
As far as sexy clothing removal, I’m afraid you’ll just have to practice. :)
