Hi Treacle! I’m buying my first garter belt and your blog has helped me immensely however, I live in Australia and it’s quite difficult to find good garter belts in department stores. Should I try and order one online or would it be best to actually try one on? Thank you and kind regards :)

I order all my garter belts online, for exactly that reason (I can’t find any good ones in department stores stateside either!).

I’d check to see if anyone in Australia stocks a line like What Katie Did, Rago, or Kiss Me Deadly, and if not, I’d consider ordering directly from one of those companies. They all have really fantastic customer service, and I’m sure they’d be happy to ship to you. :)
