We don’t have any posts on the blog right now about how to store a corset (I thought for sure we did, then I searched and it turns out we don’t), but one of our columnists, Marianne - who works for Dark Garden and is a corsetiere in her own right - is doing a series about how to care for your corset and I’ll pass your question along to her. I would say to you definitely want to wipe down the inside of your corset and let it air dry before you put it back in the plastic just to get rid of any sweat or body oils (after all, you don’t want a mildewy or rusty corset).

You could also invest in a corset storage bag to keep it in between wearings, but honestly, a natural fiber pillowcase does just as well.
