Ok so I’m not a bra expert, I can only speak from experience. But I know The Lingerie Addict has been a super informative tool when looking at bras and brands when it came to my first foray into a “specialty size” (i.e. not available at Victoria’s Secret). Here are some articles I found useful, and they all include brands that I can personally vouch for.
8 Bra Choices For Plus Size Full Bust (40-50 band size)
10 Best Lingerie Brands For Curvy Women-Fall/Winter 2012 not exclusively bras, but a lot of great stuff from great brands I wouldn’t have known about (I especially like knickerocker’s line)
Top 10 Brands For Full Bust This one is my personal go-to guide.
HerRoom.com is a great resource and offers and informative style and fit quiz.
BraStop.com someone linked me to earlier is a UK based lingerie sale site, but it has a ton of great brands at much more affordable prices. If you can’t/don’t want to spend full price money on a bra, I would suggest getting fitted somewhere like Nordstrom, writing down your size and favorite styles and brands, and ordering from a place like Bra Stop or Figleaves.
