feelingsepia asked: I'd really love to find some nice mesh or lace lingerie in pastel or paler colors, but I can't ever find anything of quality that I'd be willing to spend my money on. It all looks like it'll rip as soon as I touch it haha. Any tips?

Hmmm…I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. Cheap mesh and lace does rip easily; that’s part of why it’s cheap. More expensive mesh and lace doesn’t rip easily; that’s part of why it’s more expensive. Some pieces are stronger (or, conversely, weaker) than they look, so if you can, try it on before buying. Beyond that, I’m not quite sure what tips you’re looking for.

  2. thechicinchicago said: A good “power mesh” (or lace for that matter) should hold up. I think looking for fabric content is important. I use 80% Nylon, 20% Lycra and it seems to hold up really well.
