Pssst…our first giveaway of the week is live, and it’s a super special one from Kiss Me Deadly.
Enter to win one of the made-to-order corsets sketched here (sketched because they literally do not exist yet) plus the coordinating lingerie. All together, it’s worth about $750.
(Please note: reblogging this post does not enter you into the contest. You’ll need to visit the blog for entry details)
I’ll take what Miss September is wearing, please.
Love, love, love.
Rococo, less commonly roccoco, also referred to as “Late Baroque”, is an 18th-century artistic movement and style, which affected several aspects of the arts including painting, sculpture, architecture, interior design, decoration, literature, music and theatre. The Rococo developed in the early part of the 18th century in Paris, France as a reaction against the grandeur, symmetry and strict regulations of the Baroque, especially that of the Palace of Versailles.
First look at the top two installations by Regine Ramseier. Then look a little closer…she created her sculptures out of bras! We love how clever her work is.
As an aside, I don’t think is dumb at all.
This is the dumbest feminist shit I’ve seen yet! 1) bras this tight fit better 2) it’s so we don’t awkwardly nip everywhere 3) guys don’t suppress women with bras! No guy would complain if we stopped wearing bras. #instacollage #realtalk #dumbshit #feminists #ihatepeople #todaysrant #dumb #bras
I agree, bras should fit tightly and leave imprints, tights and underwear and even socks leave imprints on our bodies and we dont give it a second thought. Why? Because we know that they need to be tight to stay on our bodies to serve their function. Bras are the same. No one has to wear a bra, people wear them for comfort of fashion. Maybe some women follow fashion trends to attract men, or maybe to please themselves. But its no one’s busness but their own.
And on a side note, you can tell this woman’s bra is too big in the back from how high the imprint has risen up, its nearly to her shoulder blades!
Pretty lingerie watercolors by @shanafrase …now time to put them in pretty frames! (at Faire Frou Frou)
So lovely. I wish I had these on my wall.
